Technology
Introduction
BestFrontSeat uses a world-leading compression technology and a global IP network to deliver stable high quality video over the Internet. Further details of both of these key technologies are outlined below.
Compression Technology
The PSI™ Video Compression engine enables BestFrontSeat to deliver high quality video material with a much lower band-width usage than any of our competitors. The bit rates for streaming can be varied according to the target device, the band-width capacity to be used and the quality required. The compression engine has a rich list of features that can flow to any media application that requires delivery of high quality video and audio.
The key features of compactness, scalability, and priority have been attained as the main features of the PSI_V™ technology. PSI_V™ technology is an open and general-purpose architecture that effectively integrates these three features into a single platform for digital media coding.
The following two illustrations show how the regional encoding approach, used by the PSI_V™ technology, differs from the traditional based encoding approach:

The Even PSI_V™ codec treats what it sees more like the human eye than the traditional DCT based approach by applying selective compression ratios to varying parts of the scene. This enables the PSI_V™ codec to apply higher compression to less important aspects of a scene such as a static background element, and lower compression ratios to more visually important elements, such as the house in this example.
Delivery Technology
BestFrontSeat have contracted to use a global IP network to deliver the video material. This means the network is available to any customer wishing to provide an assured and reliable pass-through and transparent delivery of their video material without placing a load on their own web sites or servers.

The network infrastructure has been designed and built for one purpose: to move Internet traffic fast.
You know that long response times, slow connections, jittery video and unavailable Web servers lead to lost customers and lost revenues. The Smart Content Delivery (SCD) system was designed to prevent these unacceptable performance problems. The SCD technology uses three components to work together for faster download times, faster connections, steady video streams and reliable managed services delivered across your Internet solution: load balancing, global load balancing, and reverse proxy caching.
